Trauma Therapy

Trauma is a word to describe that something or someone impacted you in a big way. Most of us have those moments that have impacted us, and there are many ways we can process through them.

Trauma Therapy

Trauma is what brought me as a client into therapy. I read as much as I could to figure out what was happening to my body so I could get a grasp on my life again. Then, my counselor and my own research allowed me to fall in love with helping our bodies heal.

What does the healing process look like?

It can look like so many different things. Your body knows how to heal and you know what it needs. Together we’ll help figure that out and process through different things that have happened through talking, drawing, Accelerated Resolution Therapy or acknowledging the emotion that is present. We’ll go at your pace and help your body feel safe along the way.
